TWO CHOICES...

If you are considering selling your property this year, we are at that "junction in the road" period where potential vendors have two choices with respect to the timing of the sale of their property:

  1. Wait until Spring

    This is quite a popular choice at this time of year.  Many believe that their property would market well in better weather.  

    This year, more that ever, this may not be the way to go.  Why? Well, as we know,
    more owners are scheduled to be coming off their low fixed term mortgage interest rates in the coming weeks and months.

    If and when these owners do take their property to the market (typically, in Spring), some are likely to be very motivated to sell.   This plays into the hand of buyers looking to purchase at a lower price.

    Also, with the traditional Spring increase of property on the market, buyers have more choice.
     

  2. Act Now

    There are two big advantages with selling now:
     

    1. Less competition in the market (listing volumes are very low at the moment), and
       

    2. Being SOLD, "cashed up" and READY TO BUY when the motivated vendors and increased number of properties hit the market.


Two choices - From where we see it,being a buyer this Spring looks like a good place to be.
