$240,000 FOR STARSHIP!

Last Thursday night, over 650 members of the Barfoot & Thompson family came together at Eden Park for our annual Quiz Night fundraiser for Starship.

The evening was hosted courtesy of NZ Celebrity duo Jono and Ben who kept the crowd entertained and encouraged bidding for some amazing "prizes".   Many of these items were items for Starship Hospital including:

  • A DCA Analyser to support quick and effective care for children with diabetes

  • Spirometers to test children’s lung function, and

  • Buzzy Bees that help ease children’s pain and anxiety around IV line insertions and injections.

Total raised for the night was over $240,000!

Agents and Support Centre Staff alike, took the opportunity to dress up - with many tables themed.   The Grey Lynn table theme was "Barbie" - attended by no less than 7 "Barbies" and 3 "Kens"!

Good fun for a great cause!
