DAYLIGHT SAVINGS

It's hard to believe that Daylight Savings commences this weekend - so how does this affect the real estate market?

Properties really need to come to the market in October at the latest if vendors wish to sell and settle prior to Christmas.

If you are looking to sell a tenanted property, there are some significant time/notice periods which must be adhered to, to the point that it may well pay to delay marketing your investment property until early next year.

Pre-auction auctions (auctions where the date of auction has been brought forward) have begun to increase of late. Numbers at open homes have also increased slightly. We are definitely observing more activity at the coalface.

We've got the buyers - so if you have the property, please drop us a line to discuss options for this or next year.
