First Open Homes of 2024: Report

Every Tuesday morning, our branch gets together to discuss a number of real estate related items, including:

• New property sales and SOLD prices,

• Upcoming new listings,

• Recent appraisals of property on behalf of future vendors, and

• Attendance at Open Homes over the past weekend.

The first weekend of Open Homes this year really started last weekend (13th and 14th of January). 

Normally the weekends in January and early February are very quiet as some people are still returning from holiday, sorting things for the new school year and waiting for the Auckland Anniversary and Waitangi Day holidays to be over.

This year, at our branch, we were quite surprised at the increased number of visitors last weekend when compared to the same weekend in 2023.  It seems buyers are already looking, and we have many fresh buyers filling up our books.

This is great news for our vendors and our office has already completed several sales in the first couple of weeks after the New Year break.
