HAVE ELECTRIC VEHICLES CHANGED THE VALUE OF SOME PROPERTY?

This may come across as an unusual question, however, in recent years, the ability to charge an electric vehicle ("EV") at a property has become more important to an increasing number of purchasers of real estate.

Many properties in the inner central west (villas and bungalows) have little (if any) off-street car parking.  No off-street parking can cause purchasers with electric vehicles to hesitate when purchasing, or may even be a "deal breaker".

Apartment buildings with the facility to charge electric vehicles are become more sought after as more people purchase electric vehicles.

If you are thinking of selling, it could be pertinent to investigate the installation (or the ability to instal) an EV charging facility prior to the first open home!
