GREY LYNN HOME SELLS "UNDER THE HAMMER" WITH JUST 1 BIDDER
On Wednesday this week, our office sold 62 Selbourne Street unconditionally on auction day "under the hammer" with just one buyer bidding for the property.
The auction was held in Barfoot & Thompson's purpose built auction rooms in Shortland Street. The vendor was able to observe the auction first hand from one of our 5 "vendor rooms" which are have full length glass walls and are sound proof with a speaker so the vendor can see and hear the auction with privacy.
The opening bid for the the property was $2,500,000 and with a team agents, the auctioneer and the branch manager, the bid was raised in $50,000 increments until a final selling price of $2,800,000 was achieved.
It is at these crucial times - where an agent and real estate company really displays their worth.
We provide the environment, expertise and experience when it matters.
It's never been so important for vendors to pick the right company to represent them when selling their home!
