100 YEARS - WHAT A CELEBRATION!

Last Saturday, Barfoot and Thompson celebrated 100 years of operation with what was likely the biggest sit down dinner event ever held in New Zealand.

On arrival, close to 4,000 guests were welcomed at an entrance resembling the very first Barfoot & Thompson branch and then taken down "memory lane"  highlighting historical company milestones.

Legendary local talent, "When the Cats Away" Annie Crummer, Lizzie Marvelly, the incomparable Sir Dave Dobbyn and the internationally famous Paul Potts entertained a black-tie audience.

Miriama Kamo held court as MC. Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown paid tribute and Managing Director Peter Thompson narrated a stunning digital presentation telling the story of a family owned, New Zealand business that is Barfoot & Thompson.
