HOW DID THE FIRST OPEN HOMES OF 2023 GO?

Last weekend saw the first of our open homes for 2023.   Every Tuesday morning, as a branch, we discuss the attendance and feedback of each open home.

We found that properties that were brand new to the market were surprisingly busy despite the fact that we are still in the holiday period.  In fact one property was so busy that we presented no less than 3 written offers to our vendor earlier this week!

It appears that the buyers are out there early this year.

Typically we find many of our vendors choose to wait until after the Auckland Anniversary and Waitangi Day long weekends before launching their properties onto the market.  This year, it may be a case of "the early bird gets the worm".   

In any case, an encouraging start to the year.
