On Wednesday our office held 3 auctions at our city auction rooms.
3 different properties, 3 different scenarios.
All 3 properties sold unconditionally on auction day.
Two "under the hammer" and one later in the evening.
The first of the three has been described as a "Textbook Auction".
10 Mahina Place in Te Atatu sold for $1,870,000. ($20,000 above its 2021 Capital Value of $1,850,000).
Why was this such a successful auction?
A comprehensive 3 week marketing campaign was undertaken, covering digital, social and print media.
Nearing the auction day, all buyers were contacted and briefed on auction day procedures, giving them the opportunity to ask questions and to visualise and consider how they auction could "play out".
