GRAFFITI OR ART?

Late last year we had the southern wall of our branch here in Grey Lynn painted white with a weatherproof paint to maintain the integrity of the wall.

A couple of days later, our branch manager was approached by a young man asking permission to paint some graffiti on the brand new "canvas".

We've always encouraged street art (with permission) in our area -  so it was a big "yes" from us.

The result was much better than we had anticipated - thanks Jesse!
